Children Of Syria
Children should be waiting in line for Cotton Candy or popcorn, not for their own slaughter. A country has turned into a bloodbath, and what are so called leaders of the world doing? Shamelessly pointing fingers and tossing the ball around the room. Every day, we hear ‘breaking news’ about death counts and about how there still are countries that quarrel over who to blame on what’s happening in Syria. But the thing is, those decision makers’ children have a safety zone and a place to call home. Thousands of children’s blood is spilled on the grounds and alleys of Syria, while the rest of the world is watching and sitting in front row too. Houla Massacre is just a reminder to the world that yes humanity is perishing. We look at the children and feel sorry, but for how long? Ten minutes?
